Grain Free Planet (“us” or “we”), respect your privacy, and therefore are providing this Privacy Policy to detail our policies with respect to your information when you use our website,  https://www.grainfreeplanet.com (the “Website”) or any service made available through our Website (the “Services”).  Any defined terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy are defined in the Terms of Use located at www.californiacountrygal.com/terms-conditions.  By accessing the Website, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.  Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.  We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

  • Device Identifiers: When you use a mobile device like a tablet or phone to access our Website, we may access, collect, monitor, store on your device, and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers”.  Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device.  A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by us.

  • Tracking URLs: These are links that allow "us" to determine the effectiveness of a particular part of the Website.  For instance, emails from a marketing campaign may include tracking URLs to help "us" see how popular the webpage is.  This helps us serve more relevant content and information.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform.  Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.  They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.  PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

  • Communicate with you

  • Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud

  • We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

  • When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

California Civil Code Section §1798.83 permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
